CHM 586 - Fundamentals of Heterocycles with Emphasis on Pharmaceuticals

Course Description: Well over half of all known organic compounds and most pharmaceuticals are heterocycles (containing an atom other than C in the ring). This course will examine their chemistry. Topics include the nomenclature, properties, synthesis, and pharmaceutical applications of heterocycles.
