INT 368 - Global Tourism An examination of tourist sites not as places that just happen, but rather as places that are shaped as “destinations” as a result of deliberate actions by an array of stakeholders and with wide-ranging implications at multiple scales, whether cultural, environmental, political, economic, psychological, or social. Explore how new technologies may transform the furture of the touristic experience as we know it, from virtual reality to QR codes or Google glasses.
