INT 338 - Modern Japan through Film An exploration of how modern Japan, from the Togugawa period (1600-1867) through the Meiji Restoration (1868), and into the contemporary Showa (1926-1989) and Heisei (1989-) eras, has been constructed and represented in feature films.
