REC 391 - Sport, Culture and Society An examination of the role of sport in contemporary American society, and how sport is linked to the structure and dynamics of social organizations. The impact of sports on culture, specifically: values, ethics, race, gender, discrimination, economics and the media will be studied.

Prerequisite Courses: REC 265 Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Open only to students within the REC major and minor or by permission of instructor. Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated. Maximum Repeatable Hours: 3
