MAT 496 - Advanced Perspectives in Secondary Mathematics Students examine key ideas in high school mathematics from an advanced perspective. Under faculty supervision, students read, discuss, investigate, and present reports on mathematical topics beyond the students’ courses of study.
Credit Hours: 3
Corequisite Courses: Corequisite: 6 semester hours of mathematics courses at the 300-400 level. Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Open only to majors in mathematics with teaching licensure. Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated. Maximum Repeatable Hours: 3
