GLY 445 - Sedimentary Basin Analysis Evaluation of factors controlling sedimentary basin formation and evolution. Interpretation of subsidence mechanisms and evaluation of sedimentary processes through basin-scale analysis of the stratigraphic record. Aspects of sequence stratigraphy, sediment provenance, and the tectonics of sedimentary basins. Field trips; fees may be required.
