SOC 380 - Social Classes


Examination of social stratification as the system of distribution of privilege, power and prestige in modern and traditional societies. Discussion of major theories and theorists of stratification; the structure and process of systems of social inequality; the causes, correlates and consequences of socially structured inequality.
