PLS 338 - Political Systems of the Middle East Governments and politics of the Middle East with emphasis on the changes that have occurred since 1945. A detailed examination of the forces that have shaped contemporary Middle Eastern politics: Islam, nationalism, modernization, and current political trends. The political institutions and processes and the domestic and foreign policies of selected countries will be studied.
Credit Hours: 3
