NSG 483 - Migrant and Farm Worker Health


Examines health problems prevalent across the lifespan among Hispanic, migrant, farm workers and their families. Focuses on cultural values and belief systems that influence health behaviors. Analyzes social, economic, legal, and political forces that influence access to and use of health care services. Attention to cultural sensitivity requisites for effective, intercultural, communication between health care workers and Hispanic, migrant farm workers and their families.
