HST 336 - American Indian History to 1900 North American Indian cultures and history from the pre-Columbian era to the end of the nineteenth century. Topics include Indian social, political, and economic life, religion and worldview, and gender roles; European and American interaction; development of federal Indian policy and the Indian response; status of Indians in contemporary America.
Credit Hours: 3
