OCN 250 - Coasts and Society Variability of coastal landforms, the processes that shape them, problems brought about by natural and anthropogenic changes, and the role of culturally-based perceptions on valuation and management of coastal systems. Focus on coastal environments of populated continents and island nations including barrier islands, rocky coasts, dunes, estuaries, marshes and deltas.
