GLY 125 - Natural Disasters Examination of the causes, effects, and options available to mitigate actual disasters, such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, landslides, subsidence, flooding, severe weather, and meteorite impacts. Case histories are used to demonstrate scientific principles and socioeconomic issues.
