GGY 235 - Principles of Hydrology Covers the three main components of terrestrial hydrology: (1) atmospheric water, precipitation, and surface-atmosphere interactions; (2) groundwater, infiltration, substance flow, and aquifers; and (3) surface water, watersheds, rivers and floods. Lectures and exercises focus on collecting and interpreting hydrological data to address environmental issues.
