FST 318 - Screenwriting I: Introduction to Screenwriting

Theory and practice of screenwriting with an emphasis on the fundamentals of narrative structure. Students write original scripts, including a short screenplay for possible use in FST 495.

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisite Courses: Prerequisite or corequisite: FST 201; or CRW 207 or CRW 208 or CRW 209.
Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Restricted to FST majors, PCRW or CRW majors, or consent of instructor.
