EVS 471 - National Parks and Protected Areas Course will explore national parks and protected areas in the US and beyond from historical, ecological, social, and political perspectives. We will focus on understanding the role of these natural spaces in culture, individual and societal well-being, and environmental health and well as the impact of use, recreation and tourism on the parks themselves.
Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisite Courses: EVS 195 and EVS 205 . Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated.
