An in-depth exploration of the novel as a genre. Works may be from a variety of periods, writers, and traditions. May be repeated under a different subtitle.

Prerequisite Courses: Prerequisite or corequisite:ENG 103 or ENG 201, or consent of instructor. ENG 205 is strongly recommended.
