ENG 350 - American Romanticism Study of the major writers, 1820-1865, whose works fashioned a national literary identity known as the American Renaissance. May include such writers as Emerson, Thoreau, Hawthorne, Poe, Whitman, and Melville.

Prerequisite Courses: Prerequisite or corequisite: ENG 103 or ENG 201 , or consent of instructor. ENG 205 is strongly recommended. Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated. Maximum Repeatable Hours: 3
