ENG 344 - Latino Voices in American Literature ENG 204 or ENG 205 recommended but not required. Study of literature that reflects the Latino heritage of American-born writers or immigrants to the U.S. who write in English. May include such authors as Sandra Cisneros, Richard Rodriguez, Cristina Garcia, Ilan Stevens, Julia Alvarez, and Oscar Hijnelos.
Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisite Courses: Prerequisite or corequisite: ENG 103 or ENG 201 , or consent of instructor. ENG 205 is strongly recommended. University Studies: Approaches and Perspectives/Living in Our Diverse Nation Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated. Maximum Repeatable Hours: 3
