EDN 340 - Reading Foundations K-6 Emphasis on socio-psycholinguistic foundations of the reading and writing processes, stages in literary development, strategies contributing to literary competence, and research-based instruction and assessments for student growth. Study models of literacy, role of the classroom teacher, classroom environment and literary theories. The lab for this course is EDNL 340 .
