CSC 455 - Database Design and Implementation

Introduction to data base concepts, data independence, logical and physical views of data base systems. Data models: hierarchical, network, and relational. Data description languages, query functions, relational algebra. Substantial software project required.

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisite Courses: CSC 331  with a minimum grade of C
Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated. Maximum Repeatable Hours: 3
