CSC 121 - Programming Concepts I Problem-solving methods and algorithms in a modern high-level programming language. Introduces classes and objects; control structures; arrays; characters and strings. Emphasis on programming style and the design, coding, and testing of complete programs.
Credit Hours: 4
Prerequisite Courses: MAT 111 or MAT 115 Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Recommended primarily for information technology majors. Will not transfer to the computer science major or minor. A grade of “C” (2.00) or better is required to take MIS 316 . Available online only. University Studies: Building Competencies/Quantitative and Logical Reasoning, Foundations/Mathematics and Statistics Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated. Maximum Repeatable Hours: 3
