CLR 330 - Fundamentals of Biopharmaceutical Product Development This completely on-line course provides an overview of the development of pharmaceutical and biotechnology products for the marketplace. This course reviews the theoretical and practical aspects of the discovery of new entities, the preclinical process, chemistry manufacturing and controls (CMC), manufacturing and scale-up of candidate products, over-the-counter and generic drugs, production and stability of marketed products as well as the overall costs of drug development.
Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisite Courses: Prerequisite or corequisite: CLR 301 . Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Open only to students within the Clinical Research major or Entrepreneurship and Innovation minor. Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated. Maximum Repeatable Hours: 3
