BIO 180 - Plants and the Environment


Introduction to the plant kingdom through study of plant diversity, structure, and function as they relate to environmental issues such as global carbon balance, deforestation, agricultural runoff, and the effects of the introduction of genetically engineered plants. Impact of plants on human culture, history, civilization, and economics will be discussed.
