ANT 435 - Archaeology and the Media Explorations of how archaeology is practiced today and the ways in which the field is portrayed in the popular media in the United States. Topical foci include sensationalism, accuracy of reporting and reporting criteria, and the ways in which media depictions of the field of archaeology shape public perceptions and foster misconceptions about the field.
