ANT 346 - Medical Anthropology Investigation of systems of medical knowledge and healthcare; representations of health and illness; interactions between environmental, biological, and social factors that shape risk in vulnerable communities; and encounters between Western biomedicine and non-Western healing traditions. Emphasis on applied anthropology in global health settings.
