PED 300 - Principles of the edTPA: Teaching Performance Assessment This course provides Healthful Living Education majors with opportunities to apply conrent and skills from their education coursework to teacher licensure assessments such as the edTPA. The course focuses on how teacher candidates can use educational theory, health behavior theory, academic language, differentiation, and developmentally appropriate practices to be successful in obtaining a teaching license in the state of North Carolina.
Credit Hours: 1
Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Only open to students majoring in Healthful Living and Fitness Education, K-12 teacher licensure track. Course Repeatablility: Course may not be repeated. Maximum Repeatable Hours: 1
