EGN 430 - Coastal Structures This course will examine the functiional design of coastal structures distinguishing between groins, jetties, seawalls, breakwaters, revetments and bulkhealds. Hydraulic design and structural stability as a result of breakng and non-breading wave loading will be covered. In addtion, students will examine the materials used and cost implications of coastal structures.
