MIS 330 - Data Storage and Management Design, construction, and management of hybrid storage. Topics include document storage, key-value storage, object storage, file storage, table storage, data networks, storage area networks, and cache storage. Techniques to be covered include replication, compression, authentication, authorization, load balancing, data migration, data cleansing, data capture and data flows. The class will include hands-on experience with modern, enterprise-level storage products.
Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisite Courses: Prerequisites: MIS 315 and MIS 327 . Course Repeatablility: Course may not be repeated. Maximum Repeatable Hours: 3
