INT 321 - Global Garbage, Trash, and Solid Waste Presents a global picture of the types of trash that are produced in the world and the dangers these may produce for the human species and the ecosystems on which it depends. An examination of the geographies of waste production as well as how waste may travel, either as part of an organized global waste trade system, or in an uncontrolled manner, for example, creating large ocean garbage patches or polluted runoffs.
