MUS 150 - Survey of Western Art Music
Survey of European and American art music. Listening, discussion, an in-class exercises emphasize genres, forms, and styles from the Middle Ages into the 21st century, and contextualize musical works within the social, historical, philosophical, and religious history of Western civilization.
