SWK 240 - Basic Working Relationship Skills

Multi-cultural working relationship skills for generalist practice, building client-directed partnerships, interviewing, and transitioning from services using a strengths-based and solution-focused perspective. Process recordings, case assessments, social work ethics, values and diversity are covered. The lab for this course is SWKL 240.

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisite Courses: Prerequisite or corequisite: SWK 235 . Corequisites: SWKL 240 and SWK 320 and SWK 355.
Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Restricted to BSW majors main campus and/or extension site.
