SOC 498 - Internship in Sociology The application of sociological theory and concepts under supervision at a site in which the student observes and participates in highly organized social interaction. Placement must be approved by faculty coordinator, department chair, and dean in the semester prior to the internship.
Credit Hours: 1 To 6
Prerequisite Courses: SOC 300 and SOC 301 and SOC 360 Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Junior or senior standing, prerequisite courses, at least a 2.00 GPA, and consent of instructor. Cannot take internship and practicum. Course Repeatablility: Course may be repeated. Maximum Repeatable Hours: 6
