NSG 330 - Maternal-Infant Nursing Introduces core concepts of nursing essential to the role of the professional nurse caring for families. The course content will include health promotion and restoration for the childbearing family during the prenatal, perinatal and postnatal periods, along with professional values of client-centered care, life-long learning and quality improvement. Applications of concepts and essential psychomotor skills are demonstrated in clinical experiences working with clients in culturally diverse agencies.
