MUS 211 - Theory III A study of the musical process as observed in the literature of the common practice period. Based upon both structural and functional analyses as well as problem solving and controlled composition exercises. Includes secondary dominants, chromatic approach to chords and the concept of modulation. The lab for this course is MUSL 211 .
