MAT 498 - Internship in Mathematics


Academic training and practical experience through work in a private company or public agency. Supervision and evaluation of all study and on-site activity by a faculty member and an on-site mentor.

Credit Hours: 1 To 3

Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Junior or senior standing. Overall GPA of at least 2.50, a GPA in MAT courses of at least 2.80, and at least 9 hours of MAT courses numbered 300 or higher. Students must have been approved by the faculty supervisor, department chair, and dean.
