HST 371 - African History to 1800

Historical survey of African history from earliest times to 1800 with emphasis on the precolonial period. Topics include early civilizations; the rise of Islam; initial European contacts and the slave trade.

Credit Hours: 3

Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Any HST course or consent of instructor.
