EDN 467 - Non-Licensure Practicum in Early Childhood Settings A supervised practicum experience working with young children and their families in settings such as child care, community agencies, or early intervention programs. Designed for students who are completing a degree in education of young children without earning birth-kindergarten licensure, this practicum promotes integration of the knowledge, skills, and dispositions required to be an effective early childhood educator. The practicum placement is selected to be consistent with the student’s career goals and must be approved by the instructor.
Credit Hours: 6
Prerequisite Courses: EDN 204 Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Prerequisite course and admission to Watson School of Education and consent of instructor. University Studies: Explorations Beyond the Classroom, Common Requirements/Critical Reasoning Course Repeatablility: Course may not be repeated. Maximum Repeatable Hours: 6
