COM 361 - Media Law and Ethics

Survey of laws and ethical principles that inform and regulate mediated communication, including freedom of expression, rights, responsibilities and regulations of professional communicators; intellectual property and pornography.

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisite Courses: (COM 265 or COM 268) and COM 200 with a minimum grade of B
Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Prerequisite courses or consent of instructor. Restricted to COM majors or journalism minors.
