COM 350 - Politics and Film Explores how the medium of film uses narrative devices such as stock plots, characters, and situations to communicate political ideas and shape audience perceptions of reality. Topics include: The Great Depression, World War II, the Cold War, Civil Rights, Vietnam War, the Clinton years, and contemporary political eras and issues.
Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisite Courses: COM 101 and COM 200 with a minimum grade of B Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Restricted to COM majors. Course Repeatablility: Course may not be repeated. Maximum Repeatable Hours: 3
