BIO 415 - Vertebrate Histology An introduction to the cytology and morphology of vertebrate cells and tissues, including examination of the four major histological tissues: epithelium, connective tissue, muscle, and nerve. Other topics include the techniques and instrumentation of light microscopy and selected methods of sectioning, fixation, and staining of tissues. Student project required.
