STEM 501 - Inquiry-based Learning Design & Teaching Course Description: The course explores the inquiry-based learning and design model that centers learning on solving a particular problem or answering a central question. It engages students in designing and implementing inquiry-based learning environments where they create integrated STEM units/projects in cooperative groups. It familiarizes students with the engineering design process, its similarities and differences with inquiry-based learning and its role in facilitating student learning and their abilities to integrate scientific, mathematical and technology (computation) concepts.
