MSA 528 - Consolidations and Financial Topics Course Description: The study of corporate mergers and acquisitions and the related accounting issues. Topics include acquisition accounting under the purchase method and preparation of consolidated financial statements in parent/subsidiary relationships. Current merges and acquisitions are also studied. Additional financial topics are covered related to mergers.
