GLS 514 - Post-Modern Childhood Course Description: Interdisciplinary exploration of contemporary childhood. Popular media, scholarly sources, and a variety of qualitative methods will be used to analyze the social worlds of children and the social construction of childhood in postmodern and increasingly global consumer culture.
