BIO 568 - River Ecology Course Description: The biology, ecology, chemistry, and physical nature of streams, rivers, and watersheds. Biodiversity, endangered species, pollutants, the regulatory structure, and river politics will be discussed. Three combined lecture and lab hours per week, plus field trips to local rivers, streams and tidal creeks.
