PSY 549 - Basic Interviewing Skills in the Treatment of Substance Abuse Course Description: Introduction to therapeutic interviewing and active listening skills that will facilitate behavior change in substance abusing clients. Format includes lecture, readings, and experiential exercises. A grade of “B” or better must be earned for subsequent registration in PSY 550.
