PLS 545 - Government Planning and Geographic Information Systems Course Description: Examines the use of government geographic information systems (GIS) in the context of land use planning and other applications in state and local government. Course provides an introduction to the theory and application of GIS, spatial data collection, relational databases, spatial analysis, and mapping.
