EDN 439 - Field Studies in the Middle Grades (6-9)

Corequisite with at least one of the following: EDN 323, EDN 335, EDN 338, EDN 355. Open only to Middle Grades Education majors. Students will learn about and apply ideas about thematic instruction, teamwork, assessment, classroom management, legal and ethical issues, and parent/family/community involvement in middle level education. This course provides opportunities to extend understandings of the middle grades teacher as a professional in those areas. The course includes extensive field experiences.
