RTH 286 - Assistance Dog Training I

Prerequisite: Sophomore standing. Introduction of all aspects, roles and functions of assistance dogs in society and specifically to individuals with physical, neurological, psychiatric or emotional disabilities. Service dogs will be attending class on a regular basis. Service learning hours are required. Satisfies University Studies II: Approaches and Perspectives/Living in Our Diverse Nation.
