SWK 497 - Field Practicum II

Credits: 6

Prerequisites: Restricted to BSW majors main campus and/or extension site, SWK 496, SWK 396, SWK 321, SWK 341 and SWK 355; co-requisites: SWK 407, SWK 443, permission of instructor and 2.5 overall GPA. Development and application of skills used in social work practice. Supervision of student field experience in a community social service setting. Analysis and discussion of field experiences in a series of field seminars to be arranged by the field liaison. Satisfies University Studies V: Explorations Beyond the Classroom. Satisfies University Studies VI: Common Requirements/Capstone Course.
