PSY 225 - Introductory Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences

Credits: 4
Prerequisite: PSY 105  and MAT 111  or a higher-level MAT course. Majors only. Introduction to the statistical techniques most often used by behavioral scientists for either descriptive purposes or hypothesis testing. Parametric techniques are emphasized, but nonparametric tests are included. Three lecture and two laboratory hours each week. Satisfies University Studies IV: Building Competencies/Quantitative and Logical Reasoning.
